MTK Spherical roller bearings are designed for heavy duty applications.They can carry radial and axial loads in both directions.The capability of carrying heavy radial loads makes the spherical roller bearing suitable for heavy load and shock absorbing,They contain of two rows of symmetrical or asymmetrical barrel shaped rollers, which can align themselves in the spherical outer ring raceway. They are self-aligning so they can compensate deflections and misalignments of the shaft in relation to the housing.

MB : 2 piece Machined Brass cage with asymmetrical rollers guided on the inner ring

MAC4F80 : Machined Brass cage guided on the outer ring. Special design for bearings for vibrating applications

 

All the MTK+ spherical roller bearings have a lubrication groove with 3 lubrication holes on the outer ring (W33) as standard.

 

The MTK+ spherical roller bearings are produced with a cylindrical bore as well as with a tapered bore.

The tapered bore of bearings for :

240 and 241 series is 1:30 (suffix

K30) Other series is 1:12 (suffix K)

 

Spherical roller bearings with an outside diameter D>240 mm of all series can be used up to an operating temperature of +200°C. Small sized bearings operate normally at temperatures up to +120°C. When needed,

 

MTK+ can offer you following special suffixes : S1, S2, S3, S4.

 

Following Table shows the applicable maximum temperature for those suffixes.

S1 : 200° C 

S2 : 250° C 

S3 : 300° C 

S4 : 350° C

 

Naturally for those S suffixed bearings C4 and C5 radial clearance are strongly recommended
